Through both my personal experience and training through the Institute of Integrated Nutrition, I've learned that lasting change doesn't come from quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions. It comes from tuning into what truly matters: your needs, your purpose, and the small shifts that can make a big difference.
Through my own journey balancing life's unpredictability, and a deep desire to live more fully, I discovered the power of intentional habits, emotional resilience, and self-compassion. That's what Wave Maker Wellness is all about.

A Journey of Transformation
My wellness journey didn't begin in a yoga studio or a perfectly curated kitchen. It began in burnout — and deepened with two under two. I remember sitting in the dim light during a middle-of-the-night feeding, exhausted but wired. My body felt unfamiliar. My energy was unpredictable. I felt depleted in a way I didn't know how to name. After more than a decade climbing the corporate ladder, I knew pushing through wasn't enough. Postpartum doesn't respond to hustle. I needed a reset — a new structure, a new rhythm, a way to feel like myself again.
That's when I discovered a powerful shift: Food isn't just calories or control — it's information. I started using it to show my body love, rebuild, and restore energy. To support my hormones, calm my nervous system, and strengthen my ability to show up fully — as a mom, a wife, and a woman. The first workout back — not to shrink, but to rebuild. The first farmers market trip with my baby strapped to my chest. The first time I felt strong instead of just surviving.
Other moms began asking what I was doing differently. That's when I knew this wasn't just personal growth — it was purpose. After graduating from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I decided to move forward with my certification to help women build strength, restore energy, and feel fueled — not depleted. Because I've lived it. And I know what works.
